European Film Awards Announces Short Nominees

Short Film News (SFN) - The list of final nominee for the European Film Awards' short film category was completed with Hungary's With a Little Patience entry to the list.

Laszlo Nemes' film won the Prix UIP at the Drama Short Film Festival in Greece and made itself to the list of nominated short films.

Throughout the year, the European Film Academy and UIP present a Prix UIP at a series of film festivals across Europe. The prize includes an automatic nomination for the European Film Awards.

The members of the European Film Academy will judge 14 nominees and select the winner. The 21st European Film Awards ceremony will be held in Copenhagen on December 6.

Prix UIP Grimstad: The Uguns (Fire) by Laila Pakalnina (Latvia)
Prix UIP Edinburgh: Smafulgar (2 Birds) by Runar Runarsson (Iceland)
Prix UIP Vila do Conde: Love You More by Sam Taylor-Wood (U.K.)
Prix UIP Sarajevo: Tolerantia by Ivan Ramadan (Bosnia & Herzegovina)
